How the referral-to-completion pathway works
Footsteps confirms what your paperwork appears to require before asking you to purchase a program. The delivery level, contact requirement, reporting, communications, fees, and attendance rules are documented during enrollment.
The process
Six steps from referral to documentation
- 01
Submit limited referral information
Tell us the program category, jurisdiction, number of contacts or weeks, stated facilitator level, deadline, and reporting needs. Do not place documents, case numbers, allegations, or health information in the public form.
- 02
Complete qualification review
Footsteps checks whether an available program version appears to match the stated requirement. A different contact count, jurisdiction, facilitator requirement, or reporting rule may require a different version or an additional step.
- 03
Review the private quote and agreement
After qualification, you receive the delivery pathway, full private price, included documentation, optional report and communication charges, attendance policy, and enrollment agreement.

Sign and pay before service
Court and forensic services are self-pay. Insurance is not accepted for these services. Required charges are prepaid before enrollment, a session, report, or communication service is delivered.
- 05
Attend, practice, and meet the evidence standard
Completion credit requires the full facilitated contact, measured learning, skill demonstration, and required assignments. Payment or attendance by itself does not establish completion.
- 06
Receive authorized documentation
Enrollment, progress, noncompletion, and completion documents are generated according to the purchased package and recorded recipient authorizations. External authorities make their own acceptance decisions.

Know exactly what documentation you are buying
Reports and professional communications take staff or clinician time and are priced separately unless the private quote explicitly includes them.
- Brief weekly factual report: limited to that week's attendance, participation, measured work, and current program status
- Clinician-signed brief weekly report: the same limited weekly scope with licensed-clinician review and signature
- Milestone or comprehensive report: broader record review and analysis priced according to the approved scope
- Attorney, probation, court, or agency communication: requires recipient authorization, defined purpose, time estimate, and prepayment
- Rush handling, duplicate production, or work outside the original scope: quoted and approved before work begins

Identify the reporting frequency and authorized recipient during referral review so the full cost and delivery schedule can be included before enrollment.

Footsteps does not claim court approval or guarantee acceptance. A completion certificate documents Footsteps' verified program completion only. Courts, probation departments, attorneys, agencies, and other referral sources determine whether the program or document satisfies their requirements.
