Resource trust
Guidance stays grounded, protected, and reviewable
Footsteps uses approved teaching resources, keeps protected learning behind sign-in, and preserves human review where safety or interpretation matters.
How the safeguards work
Approved sources only
Answers use published, versioned Footsteps resources with citations people can open.
Learning stays protected
Public visitors can browse approved resources while assigned curriculum and delivery stay behind sign-in.
Human-reviewed boundaries
Language, accessibility, crisis direction, and non-clinical limits are checked before delivery.
Safe recovery
Stale, uncited, inaccessible, or unsafe results are contained without storing PHI or raw questions.
Resource guidance is educational. It does not replace emergency services, diagnosis, treatment, or decisions by a participant's licensed professional.

Report the exact resource
Send a category and privacy-safe issue fingerprint without names, personal stories, contact details, or PHI.
Contain urgent harm
Remove public access when crisis direction or another safety boundary is unreliable.
Correct and recheck
Create a newer version and recheck evidence, citations, language, accessibility, privacy, and crisis direction.
Keep the audit trail
Archive the prior version and preserve checksums, receipts, decisions, and the independent verification record.
Do not include health information, names, case details, or an emergency request in a resource correction. Use 911 or 988 for immediate help.
